Virginia-Towson Series
Virginia holds a 15-2 edge in its all-time series with Towson and has won 10 straight games against the Tigers. All 16 games in the series have been contested in Charlottesville.

Getting Back in the Groove
Virginia will play just its second home game of the season on Tuesday, as a wild stretch of weather in February and March limited the opportunities to play in Charlottesville. This also marks just second midweek game the Cavaliers have played in 2015.

UVa has thrived at home during the Brian O’Connor era. The Cavaliers finished 34-4 at home in 2014, and are 340-74 (.823) at Davenport Field since 2004. Virginia is 69-10 (.873) at home since 2013.

Noting Towson
Towson holds a 2-13 record after dropping two of three games in a home series with NJIT on Sunday and Monday. Spencer Sutton leads the team with a .302 batting average and is tied with Peter Bowles for the team high in RBI with nine. As a team, the Tigers are batting .246 and have a 6.50 ERA.

Up Next
Virginia remains at home this weekend for a three-game series against No. 11 Florida State. The series consists of games at 5 p.m. Friday and 1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
