Chris Graham

road-work-headerA tractor trailer crash on Route 867 has closed the bridge over Pleasant Run in Rockingham County.  This location is near Mount Crawford and east of Interstate 81.

The bridge is damaged and this portion of the road will remain closed to all traffic until Monday, June 22. The bridge was inspected by Virginia Department of Transportation bridge engineers. Repairs are needed on the bridge before it can reopen to traffic.

A detour will direct traffic to Route 11 north, onto Route 257 east and back onto Route 867.

All work is weather permitting.
