Three local students win Greater Verona Business Association scholarships

The Greater Verona Business Association recently awarded three $1,000 scholarships to three local students of GVBA member businesses.

The 2009 winners (from left to right) were:
– Elisabeth Thompson from Robert E. Lee High School, now attending Shenandoah University.
– Heather Lawhorne from Wilson Memorial High School, now attending James Madison University.
– Jill Cook from Fort Defiance High School, now attending Radford University.
