Drivers in Waynesboro can expect to pay $298.50 over three years (because that’s how long insurance increases last). That figure is almost $100 cheaper than in Richmond, Virginia’s most expensive city.

The true cost of a speeding ticket in Virginia is 2.38 times the cost of the actual ticket—drivers pay an average of $335.84 in total for a $141 speeding ticket.
