Shenandoah Valley Partnership formally announces Burnett as ED

dennis burnettThe Shenandoah Valley Partnership Board of Directors announced Monday that Dennis Burnett has been hired as executive director.  Burnett will replace Robin Sullenberger, who will retire in September. Burnett will begin work with the Partnership on Sept. 1.

Burnett brings with him experience in public and private business development, recently working as economic development director for the County of Augusta.

“We are pleased to have Dennis Burnett join the Shenandoah Valley Partnership team. Dennis has extensive experience in both the public and private sectors and a proven track record in economic development.  I feel confident that under his leadership, the Partnership will continue to thrive,” SVP Board of Directors Chair Greg Campbell said.

The Shenandoah Valley Partnership is a public/private economic development organization serving the Central Shenandoah Valley Region.  The Partnership provides marketing services, site location assistance and support to existing businesses in the Central Shenandoah Valley.  The Partnership serves the counties of Augusta, Bath, Highland, Page, Rockbridge, Rockingham and Shenandoah, and the cities of Buena Vista, Harrisonburg, Lexington, Staunton and Waynesboro.
