Morton will face Braxton Bragg in a hair-vs.-hair match on a show being produced by First Artificer Pro Wrestling on Saturday, Oct. 17, at the Betty J. Queen Intergenerational Center.
The show is a fundraiser for Restoration Ministries, a Louisa-based nonprofit dedicated to providing practical necessities, clothing and aid to families in need.

The card also has “Dapper” Dean Moseley facing “The Derby Kid” Hunter Price and a tag team grudge match pitting The Savages against The Squabbling Hillbillies.
But obviously, what you’re there for is Ricky Morton, who, just gotta say it here, and apologies to Braxton Bragg, but I don’t see Ricky Morton leaving Louisa with a shaved head.
I can’t believe that Morton is still working in the business. I just looked it up, and he hits the big 7-0 on Sept. 21.
Morton made his pro debut as a young 21-year-old way back in 1977.
Per the database at Cagematch, he’s at 3,499 career matches and counting – the most recent, at this writing, a win over Johnny Mahalo on July 15 at an Appalachian Championship Wrestling Show at the Putnam County Fair in Eleanor, West Virginia.
Valley wrestling fans might remember that Morton co-headlined the 2011 Awesome Wrestling Entertainment “Night of the Legends” pay-per-view with former WWE champ Kevin Nash.
That event was broadcast live on national TV from Augusta Expo in Fishersville.
Morton defeated Nash by countout in 10:49.
