The Shenandoah Valley Art Center in Waynesboro is featuring the artworks of Jane Tressel in November.

Tressel’s Modern Realism-inspired paintings explore everything from expressive figurative interpretations to vibrant interior and outdoor scenes, all with a sharp focus on color, content, and composition.

After years in design, marketing, and arts management, Tressel rediscovered her passion for painting when she moved back to Virginia.

With a history of working for PBS, General Electric, and Xerox — and winning some top design awards — she’s now looking forward to sharing her art with a wider audience through exhibitions.
