Leesburg Police investigating weekend distribution of KKK flyers

Leesburg Police are investigating a report that flyers referencing the KKK were distributed in the downtown area on Saturday morning.

Residents and business owners are being asked to check their video surveillance cameras for any suspicious activity between the hours of midnight and 6 a.m. on Saturday that may help provide information about the distribution of these flyers, which were found inside small zip-lock style bags, each containing rocks to weigh them down.

A quick scan of the Google machine tells us that Loudoun County authorities investigated a KKK flyer incident in the area around Round Hill Elementary School in January.

According to a report from WJLA, the KKK flyers in the January incident had also been “placed in zip-lock-style bags and weighted with small stones.”

Hmmm.
