“I am honored to be elected as the newest Senator from the 33rd district and look forward to continuing the work of now-Congresswoman Jennifer Wexton. Together we will work to expand affordable healthcare, improve our schools and roads, build an economy that works for everyone and continue our push for gun-violence prevention.” said Boysko. “I want to thank all our amazing supporters and volunteers who voted, knocked doors, made phone calls, and worked to make this a grass-roots campaign.”
Boysko was first elected to the House of Delegates in 2015. She is a former community activist and lives in Herndon with her husband, Glenn.
Following her statement, Boysko will be driving down to Richmond tonight to begin the legislative session tomorrow.
