Henrico County: Tractor-trailer catches fire on Interstate 295 bridge

A tractor-trailer hauling paper products caught fire on the Varina-Enon Bridge on northbound Interstate 295 in Henrico County on Monday morning.

There were no injuries in the 8:15 a.m. fire, according to Virginia State Police.

VSP is reporting that the truck struck the bridge on the right-hand side before catching fire.

Charges are pending.
