Albemarle County Police have charged an 18-year-old Charlottesville man in connection with a June shots-fired incident.
Jaqaruis R. Michie was already being held at the Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail on charges unrelated to the June 17 incident.
He remains in custody, per a release from the ACPD.
Michie has been charged with malicious wounding, gang participation and use of a firearm in commission of a felony in the incident, which was reported at 12:45 a.m. on June 17 in the 2400 block of Peyton Drive.
Responding officers located numerous shell casings and property damage.
No injuries were reported.
