The University of Mary Washington will host an opportunity for high school seniors on Feb. 17 at 1 p.m. to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Each in-person session will be held in the Hurley Convergence Center computer lab, with financial aid officers and admissions counselors available to answer questions.

The opportunity is open to any student whether or not they have applied to UMW. Advance registration is recommended online.

“FAFSA can be daunting the first time you file it, but we’re here to help students and families complete the process so they can access vital federal and state assistance if needed,” said UMW Dean of Admissions & Associate Vice President Melissa Yakabouski.

UMW will also host an Open House on February 17 for interested students to experience student life, speak to academic program representatives and take a campus tour.

FAFSA applications for the 2024-2025 academic year are due by June 30, 2025.

UMW is at 1301 College Ave., Fredericksburg.
