WWE said last week that Shawn Michaels was going to be on an expert panel for its SummerSlam pre-show. Turns out that he had a much bigger role.
The expert panel – including Michaels, Booker T and Vickie Guerrero – also played a prominent on-air role during the SummerSlam pay-per-view broadcast.
Michaels will be in Waynesboro, Va., on Saturday, Aug. 31, for the Shawn Michaels Experience. Tickets for the event start at just $15.

Michaels offered expert commentary in advance of the Daniel Bryan-John Cena main event. Michaels trained Bryan at his Texas Training Academy.
The former pupil defeated Cena for the WWE title in the SummerSlam main event before losing it to Money in the Bank winner Randy Orton moments later in an unannounced match.
