Charlottesville: The Paramount Theater to host high-energy Zeppelin-inspired concert

If you are a ledhead and fan of Led Zeppelin’s music, a December performance at The Paramount Theater in Charlottesville should be on your calendar.

Get the Led Out will performing live on Thursday, Dec. 5 at 8 p.m.

Get the Led Out captures the essence of the recorded music of Led Zeppelin and brings it to the concert stage. No wigs or fake English accents … just a high-energy Zeppelin concert.

The Philadelphia-based group consists of six veteran musicians intent on delivering Led Zeppelin live. Utilizing the multi-instrumentalists at their disposal, they re-create songs in all their depth and glory with the studio overdubs that Zeppelin themselves never performed.

Dubbed by the media as “The American Led Zeppelin,” Get the Led Out offers a strong focus on the early years. They also touch on the deeper cuts that were seldom, if ever, heard in concert.

The show includes an acoustic set with Zep favorites such as “Tangerine” and “Hey Hey What Can I Do.”

Tickets range from $34.75 to $79.75 per person. Tickets are available online or by phone at (434) 979-1333.

The Paramount Theater is located at 215 E. Main St. on the Downtown Mall in Charlottesville.
