When you read about a business going viral on TikTok or other social media, do you wonder if a similar strategy could introduce your business or product to a new audience, but maybe don’t know where to start?

Bridgewater College is looking for four businesses or organizations in Augusta or Rockingham counties who could use a little extra help with marketing.

Whether you are launching a new brand or product, need help with a logo or website, or could use a social media plan, 25 students enrolled in an entrepreneurship course could be a gamechanger for your bottom line.

Students are ready and willing to tackle marketing plans, consumer research, feasibility studies for new products or services, logos and any marketing need your business might have.

The deadline for businesses or organizations to apply for help in the spring semester is Dec. 5.

Last year, students helped a food truck rebuild their website, developed a social media plan for a bookstore and helped a nonprofit organization design marketing pieces for an upcoming event.

“In the past 15 years, we’ve helped more than 60 businesses and nonprofits in the community, and our students look forward to working with a new batch in the spring of 2026,” said Dr. Maria V. Lugo, associate professor of business administration and a faculty adviser for the project.

Projects should be entrepreneurially oriented, designed to fit the students’ capabilities, able to be completed over a three-month period and have enough substance to merit course credit.

Local organizations interested in applying should contact Lugo by email at [email protected] or by telephone at (540) 828-5418.
