The timing of this week’s announcement from the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank about its free afterschool meals program locations couldn’t be better.
Unfortunately.
The Trump administration, as it is beginning a $300 million reno of the White House, and a $40 billion bailout of Argentina, has signaled that SNAP will be cut unless Democrats surrender and sign on to their trillions of dollars in healthcare cuts.
America first, right?
So much winning, right?
The afterschool meals program sponsored by the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank might just help some kids have dinner, at least on weekdays.
