Augusta Health employees earn certifications

Chris Graham

During the first quarter, 2012, ten Augusta Health employees earned national certifications in their areas of expertise.  These certifications require demonstration of extensive knowledge in a subject area, usually by examination.

“I am very proud of the employees who earn their national certifications.  We encourage national certifications because the high level of knowledge and professional skill required by certification translates to improved quality and service to our patients and community.  We also appreciate each employee’s commitment—these certifications are not easy to earn.  They represent a significant investment of personal time and a desire for excellence,” says Mary N. Mannix, FACHE and CEO of Augusta Health.
