Augusta Health announces free Speakers’ Bureau

Chris Graham

Augusta Health now offers a comprehensive Speakers’ Bureau to bring customized programs and presentations to clubs, churches and other community non-profit organizations. This is a free community service provided by local experts in the healthcare field.

“We believe that one way we can fulfill our mission to promote the health and well-being of our community is through interactive educational opportunities. Our Speakers’ Bureau is a way to provide free access to local experts who can offer valuable insights on a variety of healthcare topics,” said Lisa Schwenk, Director of Public Relations at Augusta Health.

Presentations generally last about 30 minutes, and can be in lecture, question/answer or discussion format. Each can be tailored to meet the needs of a specific organization. In order to accommodate schedules, requests for speakers should be made at least two weeks in advance.

To schedule a speaker, the Speakers’ Bureau Request form is available on the Augusta Health website, www.augustahealth.com. Click on the ‘Request a Speaker’ icon at the bottom of the Home Page. For more information, or to schedule through a person, please call Lisa Schwenk at 540.245.7329.
