Artisan Night: Jazz Under the Stars, a gala benefit event in support of the Artisans Center of Virginia star-lighting Virginia artisan crafts, music, foods and drink, is scheduled for Saturday, June 6, from 6:30 pm to midnight at The Ix Event Space (Monticello Road & Second Street SE, Charlottesville). Proceeds from the gala will support furthering the Artisans Center of Virginia’s mission and the culture of craft throughout the Commonwealth.

Artist Mixer: Mingle with Virginia artisans to the Dueling Jazz Pianos of Hod O’Brien & Jim Wray
The Best of Charlottesville Jazz: The Jazz Collective #9 featuring Jay Urgo, Jim Howe, Haywood Giles and many others.
Special Artisan Décor: Glass Lighting by Charles Hall and Sculpture by Nini Baeckstrom, Floyd Hurt & Yates Spencer.
Artisan Cuisine: Delectables by: Al Hamraa, Bel Rio, Fellini’s # 9, Maya, and the Melting Pot with a special presentation by Alexander’s Restaurant of Roanoke .
Silent Auction: Virginia Artisan Crafts by ACV juried artisans and merchandise from supportive local vendors
