jmu logoJames Madison (2-1) and Villanova (1-1) will both open Colonial Athletic Association football play this weekend with a 12:30 p.m. kickoff at Villanova Stadium.  The visiting Dukes have won on back-to-back Saturdays, both against FCS foes, while Villanova was idle last weekend.  The Wildcats opened the season with a 27-26 double-overtime loss at Syracuse of the Atlantic Coast Conference before thumping Fordham, 50-6, two weeks ago.

The game will feature two of the top rushing attacks nationally as JMU leads the CAA and is seventh in the land with 273 yards per game, Villanova is second in the league and 10th among all FCS teams with 245 per contest.

Both attacks are triggered by their respective quarterbacks in Georgia Tech transfer Vad Lee of the Dukes and preseason CAA Offensive Player of the Year John Robertson of Villanova.
