A series of events designed to celebrate women and support female entrepreneurs will be offered March 6-8 in Staunton.

Now in its fourth year, Valley Women’s Weekend gives female business owners the opportunity to relax, have fun and learn from each other.

“What makes this weekend special is the way women show up for one another,” said Megan Burrows, one of the event planners. “The dedication, creativity, and perseverance we see from women in business — and the support they extend to each other — is something worth celebrating.”

Organized by Valley Women Collab, the weekend is designed to build momentum for a year-round effort to strengthen the support network for entrepreneurs throughout the Shenandoah Valley.

“Valley Women Collab exists to ensure the energy from Valley Women’s Weekend continues beyond these three days,” said Breanna Decker-Grant, co-founder and co-planner. “We are building an ecosystem where women connect strategically, share resources openly and grow businesses that strengthen the entire Shenandoah Valley.”

The three-day experience coincides with Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day.

This year’s agenda includes:

  • Opening event to gather and connect on Friday evening
  • Wellness session focused on movement and mindfulness on Saturday morning
  • Content creation workshop for entrepreneurs and creatives on Saturday afternoon
  • Music bingo and community celebration on Saturday evening
  • Market and closing ceremony on Sunday

Downtown shops and restaurants will also offer specials, pop-ups and collaborations for residents to show support for women entrepreneurs.

Event details, tickets and participating businesses are available online.
