Update: Monday, 9:21 p.m. Top QB transfer target Beau Pribula has committed to Virginia, which means, we can all breathe now.

Pribula will be a grad transfer – he spent three years, including a redshirt year, at Penn State, backing up Drew Allar, before transferring to Mizzou in the 2024-2025 offseason.

He started 10 games at Missouri in 2025, completing 67.2 percent of his passes for 1,941 yards, 11 TDs and nine INTs, with 434 sack-adjusted yards on the ground – 244 yards on designed runs, 190 yards on scrambles.

Original story: QB situation kinda iffy right bow

Posted: Monday, 12:46 p.m. Outside looking in, it’s Beau Pribula, the former QB1 at Missouri, former backup at Penn State, or bust, for UVA Football, heading into the spring.

Pribula, who we were told last month had been in contact with Virginia, is now set to make a formal visit, per Pete Nakos at On3.

Pribula just visited Tennessee, which was in the market for former Arizona State QB1 Sam Leavitt, the top QB in the 2026 portal class, who just committed this morning to LSU.

The dominoes are starting to fall – Dylan Raiola, the two-year starter at Nebraska, is headed to Oregon; DJ Lagway, the two-year starter at Florida who visited UVA last week, committed to Baylor.

That leaves just Pribula and Husan Longstreet, a five-star prep recruit who saw very limited action at Southern Cal as a true freshman in 2025, uncommitted among the Top 20 QBs in the class, per rankings from 247Sports.

Longstreet was in the mix at both LSU and Oregon; I think it would be a stretch to expect Virginia to be a player with him, with the likes of Miami and Tennessee still in the hunt for a QB.
