One person is dead after a fatal crash on Tinkling Spring Road in Augusta County this afternoon.
Virginia State Police report the driver of a BMW died at the scene at approximately 12:26 p.m. today.
The name of the deceased individual has not been released.
According to VSP, a BMW was travelling southbound on Tinkling Spring Road when it crossed the center line and struck a Dodge Ram pickup truck driving northbound.
The BMW then went off of the right side of the road.
The driver of the pickup was transported to UVA Health with minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation at this time.
