Reese Bull | The money leads, and Sixth District Congressman Ben Cline follows

Reese Bull

Here is a partial list of Sixth District Congressman Ben Cline’s campaign contributors, from the opensecrets.org website:

Altria Group: $14,500

Altria is a tobacco company. They sell 45 percent of the cigarettes in the U.S. and are a leading producer of smokeless tobacco.

Buckeye Liberty PAC: $10,000

This PAC is affiliated with Ohio Congressman Jim Jordan, an election denier closely tied to Donald Trump.

Cline is also a MAGA election denier. He sued to invalidate the 2020 election results for several states, and voted against certifying the results for Arizona and Pennsylvania.

Space X: $10,000

Owned by billionaire Elon Musk, head of DOGE. The EPA determined earlier this year that a Musk-owned data center in Tennessee violated environmental regulations.

Union Pacific: $8,000

UP plans to merge with Norfolk Southern, creating a giant coast-to-coast railroad system.  Opponents say the merger would increase costs, decrease worker safety, and limit transportation options.

Dominion Energy: $7,500

A pending merger between Dominion and NextEra Energy would create the world’s largest regulated electric utility. Critics warn that such a large company would increase costs for consumers.

Kalshi Inc.: $7,116

Kalshi is a prediction market broker. Mental health counselors find that prediction markets harm the mental and financial health of users with gambling addictions.

Will Ben Cline uphold his oath to “preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution?”

Will he vote for the health and safety of constituents?

Will he reduce our energy bills and other household expenses?

Or will he vote for the interests of his corporate sponsors?
