The Wayne Theatre in Downtown Waynesboro is set to present Deep into the Darkness: A Musical, Theatrical Journey Through the Worlds of Edgar Allan Poe, an original production that invites audiences into the mysterious, beautiful and unforgettable imagination of one of America’s greatest literary figures.

Showtimes are scheduled for Oct. 22-25.

Deep into the Darkness, originally created as a touring production by Whitney Larsen, Lesley Larsen, and Melissa Branin Wheeler, draws inspiration from several of most celebrated stories and poems of Poe, a UVA dropout – the celebrated writer attended for one semester in 1826, and left after accumulating significant gambling debts.

Performance times, ticket information, and additional details are available at waynetheatre.org or by calling the Wayne Theatre Box Office at 540.943.9999.
