Film Festival set for Saturday

Waynesboro is playing host to a film festival on Saturday with the first-ever Waynesboro Short Film Festival screening 12 films.

The Festival opens with a reception at the Shenandoah Valley Art Center on South Wayne Avenue from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The screenings begin at 1 p.m. in Lawton Chapel at Fishburne Military School.

Admission to the Festival is free. The winners of the competition will be announced at the end of the screening.

The Festival is sponsored by the Waynesboro Cultural Commission with support from the City of Waynesboro.
