Farrell previously served as the director of basketball operations and assistant recruiting coordinator at DePaul University from 2011-13 after one year as the Blue Demons’ video coordinator (2010-11). He was also the video coordinator at Clemson University (2008-10), following a year as a graduate assistant coach and assistant to the video coordinator at Virginia Commonwealth University (2007-08).
