A jumper by Hampton’s Dionte Adams at the 9:59 mark tied the game at 16. An approaching winter storm is projected to bring Virginia snow to the west and two to four inches of rain in Richmond and surrounding areas today and tomorrow, likely creating havoc for holiday travelers. The storm, Boreas, made its grand entrance in California and pushed its deadly path as far as Texas creating treacherous traffic conditions.

The Waynesboro YMCA year-round competitive swim team (SMAC) had the largest turnout in history for the Fall Invite at the Waynesboro Y and used the excitement of the large crowd to set three new SMAC team records. The SMAC Fall Invite was attended by 380 swimmers from Charlottesville to Roanoke.

On Tuesday, Virginia Organizing and other community leaders will gather to show solidarity with undocumented immigrants across the U.S. and raise awareness on immigration reform. A comprehensive immigration reform with a path to citizenship bill was passed by the U.S. Senate in June and has not yet been heard by the House.

Boston College running back Andre Williams and Pittsburgh defensive tackle Aaron Donald lead a group of nine Atlantic Coast Conference Football Players of the Week announced on Monday. The ACC Offensive Back of the Week honor is Williams’ second straight and third of the season.
