Gov. Terry McAuliffe announced today that Virginia agricultural exports, which also include forestry products, reached a new all-time high of $2.85 billion in 2013, up more than 8 percent in total value from the previous record reached in 2012.

The Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services announced that Virginia’s corn yields are expected to be 154 bushels per acre, up 51 bushels from the previous year’s yield and up four bushels per acre from the November forecast.
