The game was delayed at the outset by rain for an hour and eight minutes. Richmond held a 5-0 lead before Erie scored 10 unanswered runs.

The Richmond Flying Squirrels (14-20) scored nine times in the first four innings and routed the Bowie Baysox (19-18), 9-4, on Sunday afternoon at Prince George’s Stadium.

In a ballgame delayed at the outset by an hour and 40 minutes, the Bowie Baysox (19-17) scored the final eight runs to brush past the Richmond Flying Squirrels (13-20) and claim an, 8-4, victory.
