The following is a list of highway work that might affect traffic in the Staunton VDOT transportation district during the coming weeks. The Staunton district is comprised of 11 counties, Alleghany, Bath, Rockbridge, Augusta, Highland, Rockingham, Shenandoah, Frederick, Page, Warren and Clarke.

Mike London’s first task as the new head football coach at UVa. was to re-recruit the group that had committed to deposed predecessor Al Groh. It wasn’t the most stellar of classes, given the situation – ranked 11th in the ACC and 67th nationally by Rivals, but it was what he had to work on.

Looks like somebody’s back hard at it in the office. Ken Cuccinelli, still attorney general for a few more weeks, today unveiled a program to put his office budget on the web for public inspection. The budget data is from July 2011 through the last complete quarter, September 2013.
