Gannett Company Inc., parent company of the Staunton News Leader, has donated $5,500 to United Way of Greater Augusta to support its Dolly Parton Imagination Library program.

The Community Action Partnership of Staunton, Augusta and Waynesboro (CAPSAW) announced the opening of its free tax preparation program, Valley VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) in February.

The award winning Andrew McKnight and Beyond Borders will bring their exciting fusion of musical genres to WTA’s Gateway on Saturday, Jan. 25. The Saturday performance is sponsored by Jim Wilson and supported by a grant from the Virginia Commission for the Arts.
