The Richard Adams Variety Show is closing out what will be known as “The Gateway Years” with a bang. The performance will be on Friday, June 6 at 7:30 pm at WTA’s Gateway, 329 West Main in downtown Waynesboro.

VMI baseball has announced the players that will participate in summer leagues this season, according to information provided by the program recently.


On opening night of the Valley Baseball League season, left fielder Eric Kalbfleisch led the Harrisonburg Turks to a 5-4 walk-off win over the New Market Rebels.

Last Thursday approximately thirty seniors from Staunton Senior Center and Waynesboro Senior Center joined at Gypsy Hill Park for the monthly health program entitled “Relaxation in the Park”, presented by health program team members including Shelly Lam, Anna Stell, and Jessica Miller.

Two of the Valley’s outstanding musicians will close out May at WTA’s Gateway on Friday, May 30 at 8 pm. Bert Carlson last performed at the Gateway in November as part of the theatre’s jazz series. This time he is joined by T. J. Johnson.
