VDOT expanding holiday traveler services in Shenandoah Valley, Central Virginia

The Virginia Department of Transportation is providing motorists with extra services in the Shenandoah Valley and Charlottesville areas for the Thanksgiving holiday period. Travel times will be shown on portions of Interstate 81 and I-64. Additionally, Safety Service Patrols will be expanded on Sunday, November 29.

Vector Industries opens new location: ‘Real milestone’ in nonprofit’s history

Months of work, and years of planning, came to fruition Monday at the new home for Vector Industries in Waynesboro. The unique nonprofit business had long since outgrown the 27,000 square feet of space that had housed its operations in a complex of buildings on Fairfax Avenue since 1969.

Warner, Kaine announce nearly $3 million in USDA funding to support Virginia agriculture

Today, U.S. Senators Mark Warner and Tim Kaine announced that the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has awarded $2,996,643 in grant funding to small businesses throughout Virginia. Today’s funding will support operations and marketing at local farms, ranches, wineries and other product-based small businesses that contribute to the agricultural industry in Virginia.
