The Waynesboro Police Department has charged a city teenager on a felony drug charge after officers found her with a large amount of marijuana and cash last week. Alysha Nichole Harlow, 18 years old, faces one count of possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute stemming from a traffic stop on October 19.

The Waynesboro Police Department arrested three individuals on felony drug charges last night. Members of the Department’s Special Operations Division executed a search warrant at an apartment at 1019 Albemarle Avenue. Police arrested James Everett Ferguson, 52 years old, and Lisa Marie Ailstock, 41 years old, on possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute charges. Police also arrested Carlene Nicole Carter, 35 years old of Staunton, for possession of methamphetamine.

The Waynesboro Police Department arrested a Waynesboro man over the weekend for attempting to steal copper from a city business. The assailant, Charles William Reed Jr., was convicted in October 2014 of two felonies and four misdemeanors in Waynesboro Circuit Court for his part in a copper theft ring.

The Waynesboro Police Department has charged a Staunton man with embezzlement after he stole several hundred dollars from his employer over a three-week period beginning in mid-September. Christopher Darrell Brookins, 23 years old, faces a single felony charge after it was determined he stole $620 from Walmart, 116 Lucy Lane.
