But two late fumbles catapulted the SteelHawks to a 23-0 run and an eventual 51-41 win, as instead they claimed the final playoff berth and ended the Raiders’ season.

Led by Midlothian-native Tyler Wilson’s seven nearly flawless innings, the Bowie Baysox (44-37) rolled to a, 3-0, shutout win over the Richmond Flying Squirrels (46-34) in front of 9,457 at The Diamond on Saturday night.

The Bowie Baysox (43-37) snapped the Richmond Flying Squirrels (46-33) win-streak at seven games with a, 5-1, victory in the first game of a doubleheader at The Diamond on Friday night. The Baysox also claimed the nightcap, 6-3, to take a leg up in the extended five-game series.

With just one game remaining in the 2014 regular season, the Richmond Raiders’ playoff fate has yet to be decided. They will battle the Lehigh Valley SteelHawks on Saturday night in Bethlehem, PA with the PIFL’s final playoff berth up for grabs.
