The Virginia Department of Transportation has scheduled lane and ramp closures along Interstate 81 between mile markers 174 and 311 during the week of August 17-21.

Overnight lane closures are scheduled to take place this week on Interstate 81 northbound and southbound in Frederick County between mile marker 309 and 311 near Winchester.

Overnight left lane closures are scheduled for Interstate 81 northbound and southbound in Frederick County beginning Monday, June 15 between mile marker 309 and 311 near Winchester. The closures are scheduled to take place Monday to Thursday from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., and Friday from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.

Motorists should be alert for northbound and southbound slow-roll lane closures Sunday morning, May 17, along Interstate 81 in Augusta County.

Guardrail and cable barrier work scheduled for today and tomorrow will close the left lane of Interstate 64 westbound in western Albemarle County.

Around 2 a.m. on March 13, the Virginia Department of Transportation will complete bridge work and reopen the northbound right lane of Interstate 81 in the vicinity of mile marker 221. Around noon on, March 12, the right lane was closed.

Motorists on Interstate 81 northbound can expect overnight lane closures in Shenandoah County this week. All of these closures are between mile markers 265 and 275, as part of a pavement rehabilitation project.

On Sunday morning, September 21, motorists should be alert for slow-roll lane closures on portions of Interstate 81 and Interstate 64 in the Lexington and Timber Ridge area of Rockbridge County.

Motorists on Interstate 81 northbound in Shenandoah County can expect overnight lane and ramp closures over the next week. All of these closures are due to milling and paving between mile markers 265 and 274, as part of a pavement rehabilitation project.

As part of the Interstate 81 pavement rehabilitation project in Shenandoah County, milling and paving continues between mile markers 264 and 274 northbound.
