The national average price of gas has fallen for a record 106 days to $2.17 per gallon (Friday), every day since September 25, which is the lowest average since May 8, 2009.

Today’s Richmond metro gas price average of $1.99 has tumbled $1.20 compared to this same day last year, the lowest price of gasoline in Richmond since May 2009.
