generals-new logo2A fourth-inning Steven McLean sacrifice fly broke a 4-4 tie, and two Turks relievers made it hold up in a 5-4 win over Waynesboro Tuesday night at Veterans Memorial Stadium.

The McLean sac fly capped a three-run fourth for Harrisonburg, which scored two runs on a wild pitch by reliever Connor Foltyn.

The runs were charged to starter Vince Braman (0-1), who gave up five runs, four earned, on seven hits in three-plus innings.

Tucker McCoy (1-0) picked up the win in relief for the Turks, putting in three and two-thirds shutout innings.

Tyler Brown earned his first save with a 1-2-3 ninth that included two strikeouts.
