Virginia Tech ran for 305 yards, overcame a bit of fumble-itis, and blew out William & Mary, 62-17, on Saturday.
The Hokies (2-0) led 38-7 at the half, and were able to get the starters rest early.
Josh Jackson threw for 217 yards, completing 12 of his 16 pass attempts, with a touchdown pass to Damon Hazelton, who had 107 yards on four catches.
Five Hokies gained at least 35 yards on the ground.

Ninth-ranked Virginia, shut out for the previous 14 innings, dating back to the ninth inning on Friday night, pushed across three runs in the top of the eighth to salvage the series finale at Boston College, winning 3-1 on Sunday.
