UVa. ranked 20th in Associated Press basketball poll

uva-logo-new2UVa. has climbed back into the Associated Press Top 25 men’s basketball poll after falling out of the poll in November.

The Cavaliers (17-5, 8-1 ACC) are ranked 20th this week. Virginia is one of four ACC teams in the poll. Syracuse (21-0, 8-0 ACC) is #1, with Duke (17-5, 6-3 ACC) at #11, and Pittsburgh (18-4, 6-3 ACC) at #25.

UVa. also made a big move up in the RPI ratings updated today. The ‘Hoos are a season-high 15th in the ESPN RPI, 16th in the CBSSports.com RPI and also 16th in the official NCAA.com RPI.
