UVA Football | ACC sets noon kickoff for Oct. 25 game in Chapel Hill

Bad news for folks like me who were hoping to be able to do the UVA-Villanova basketball exhibition game on Oct. 24 and then make the trek down to Chapel Hill for UVA-UNC football on Oct. 25.

The ACC has set the game in Chapel Hill for a noon ET kickoff.

It’s an ACC Network game, which means, the conference doesn’t think much of it.

Back in my younger days, I’d have done both the hoops exhibition – our first chance to see Ryan Odom’s new-look ‘Hoos – which tips off at 7:30 p.m. on the Friday night, then gotten up early and cruised to Kenan Stadium for the noon kickoff.

My priority has to be seeing the hoops team, which also has an exhibition game this week, at Vanderbilt on Thursday.

That one, unfortunately, is neither being televised nor streamed, which is just dumb.

The UVA-‘Nova game is being streamed on ACCNX.

Neither of those games counts, but, I mean, you know, it’s hoops.
