Virginia trailed by 18 going into the fourth quarter, and was able to cut the margin to six in the final seconds, but otherwise, Nebraska was dominant on its way to a 91-82 win in the final at the Emerald Coast Classic on Tuesday.

Tournament MVP Britt Prince led the Cornhuskers (7-0, NET: 40) with a tournament-record 30 points.

Preseason All-ACC point guard Kymora Johnson had a nice bounceback game – statline: 24 points (7-of-15 FG, 3-of-9 3FG, 7-of-9 FT), six rebounds, six assists.

The one ugly line: eight (!) turnovers.

Points off turnovers were the difference in this one: Nebraska outscored the ‘Hoos (5-2, NET: 73) by 10 on that line.

Next up for Virginia: Maryland Eastern Shore (4-4, NET: 227) on Sunday at JPJ.
