Tomorrow starts the ninth annual United Way of Greater Augusta “Stuff the Bus” at the Staunton and Waynesboro Wal-Marts during tax free weekend – August 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Volunteers will be collecting supplies from 8:30 am-8 pm Friday and Saturday and Sunday from 8:30 am-6pm.
The United Way of Greater Augusta has partnered with Wal-Mart to present Stuff the Bus. Throughout the weekend, August 1-3, volunteers will be collecting donated school supplies and backpacks for students in Waynesboro, Staunton and Augusta County schools.
You will find a list of basic school supplies needed by our area children. Donations can be dropped off all weekend long August 1-3 at the Staunton or Waynesboro Wal-Marts. In addition to donations, United Way of Greater Augusta is in need of volunteers to help us collect, pack and deliver school supplies.
