Frontier Community Bank in Waynesboro recently promoted Tatiana Stevens to the post of management trainee.

Stevens joined Frontier during 2008 as a part-time employee. A Miami, Fla., native, Stevens boasts an impressive resume, with nearly 10 years of banking experience.

The management trainee position is a hands-on program designed by Frontier to groom future leadership within the bank. Stevens will train in all aspects of bank operations during the next year.

Stevens and her son, Edward, reside in Waynesboro, where she is an energetic community member. Stevens recently coordinated community-outreach programs for Haiti and Juarez, Mexico.

Stevens also serves as a captain for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life program and is an active member of Four Square Gospel Church on the Hill in Fishersville.

Additionally, she organized Frontier’s participation to Home Instead Senior Care’s “Santa to a Senior” program. Through her efforts, Frontier’s involvement allowed Home Instead to provide over 2,000 gifts for 510 seniors in need.

“We’re pleased to see Tatiana excel in her career path with Frontier,” said Frontier Executive Vice President Alan Sweet. “Tatiana understands the need for providing far superior customer service as a community banker. We’re also very excited to see Frontier’s growth facilitate the creation of this position so swiftly. Her potential in a rapidly growing bank such as Frontier is limitless.

Frontier Community Bank is locally owned and managed, focused on serving individuals and businesses in Augusta County, Waynesboro and Staunton. Frontier is a full-service community bank offering guaranteed customer service. For more information regarding the bank, check out Frontier online at www.frontiercommunitybank.com.
