EMU Professor Emeritus to speak at WWPL on polarization in America

Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library‘s Speaker Series returns Monday, Sept. 23, with Professor Emeritus David Brubaker from Eastern Mennonite University.

Brubaker will speak at 7 p.m. on “Leading in the Age of Polarization.”

He brings 35 years of expertise in workplace mediation and organizational consulting, offering valuable insights on how we can navigate and bridge the deepening divides in society.

He is the author of the influential books, When the Center Does Not Hold: Leading in an Age of Polarization, and Promise and Peril: Understanding and Managing Change and Conflict in Congregations, as well as the co-author of The Little Book of Healthy Organizations.

Brubaker’s engaging and informal speaking style makes his presentations not only informative but also highly interactive. His visit to WWPL is a unique opportunity to explore practical strategies for building stronger, more inclusive communities.
