The Rockingham Harrisonburg SPCA has scheduled a follow-up Fee-Waived Adoption Event on Saturday from noon to 6 p.m. at the RHSPCA, 2170 Old Furnace Road in Harrisonburg.

“Building on the success of our adoption event on March 8th, we are excited to host another fee waived adoption event,” said Huck Nawaz, executive director at the RHSPCA. “The last event saw 23 animals go home and our goal this time is to find homes for 37 pets at this upcoming event on March 29th.”

Cleo, a long-stay dog, was one of the pets adopted during the March 8 event. She had been at the shelter for over one year. Now, Cleo is living her best life with a loving family, enjoying daily walks, cozy naps, and all the belly rubs she could ask for.

The RHSPCA hopes to create more happy endings like Cleo’s on March 29.
