Roanoke | Group sends pointed message to Ben Cline via billboard

Chris Graham

ben cline billboard A group by the name DoGood Virginia is efforting to get the attention of Sixth District MAGA Congressman Ben Cline with a billboard located across the street from the congressman’s Roanoke office.

The message on the billboard, “His Votes, Our Deficit,” highlights Cline’s enthusiastic support for the MAGA/DOGE agenda.

“When we saw our Rep. Ben Cline enthusiastically support Elon Musk and DOGE as they slashed the appropriated federal dollars slated for our region, we were alarmed. These cuts had an immediate effect on the many agencies we have been striving to help. The full impact of these drastic cuts has yet to be felt. Then, on July 3, when we watched Rep. Ben Cline happily vote for the ‘Big Beautiful Bill’ we realized how fully disconnected he is from the needs of his district and constituents,” the group wrote on its website.

“Opportunities to meet with Rep. Ben Cline with our concerns have been increasingly restrictive. He has offered no town hall meetings. And instead of substantive answers to our written questions and calls, he consistently sends hollow form-letters filled with political pablum.

“The Jefferson Street billboard is our way of directly responding to Rep. Cline’s votes, his failure to listen, and refusal to answer questions,” the group wrote.
