Viewer-supported WVPT will present a “Roadtrip to History” marathon on Tuesday, June 19th beginning at 8 p.m.
The marathon broadcasts will feature stories on the history and culture of different towns, regions and events in American and local history. Highlighted during the June 19 broadcasts will be Bath County, The Civil War along the Great Valley Road, and Shepherdstown, W.Va.

A Martinsville man stopped his pickup truck in the middle of the road in front of the Henry County Adult Detention Center, told a Virginia State Police trooper, “I need to be arrested,” and it was then that the story got weird.
