Augusta Free Press is live at Davenport Field in Charlottesville, Va., for the opening game of the 2014 Charlottesville Regional in the NCAA Baseball Tournament pitting #3 national seed UVA (44-13) and Bucknell (30-19).
UVA will start Artie Lewicki (5-1, 1.99 ERA) vs. Bucknell’s Bryson Hough (8-3, 4.37 ERA).
The winner of the game plays Saturday at 8 p.m. against the winner of Friday’s second game in the Charlottesville Regional featuring Arkansas (38-23) and Liberty (41-16). The losers of Friday’s games play at 2 p.m. Saturday in an elimination game.
